In 1998 Staffing (formerly ARES Promotions) was started by Glenn Fairchild as a private company providing promotional staff to some of Australia’s best known brands. With long standing clients and thousands of promotional staff, we have been a serious player in the promotional staffing industry for almost 10 years. Relationships with long standing clients such as Coca Cola, Jaguar, Estee Lauder and CUB helped propel Staffing to become the largest Victorian promotions services provider within a few years.
However, economic changes from September 2001 cut marketing budgets of many clients, and although most clients were maintained, it was at a fraction of the previous level. Over the following few years Staffing diversified our services from the dormant post 9/11 promotions sectors and expanded into New South Wales. The rebranding of Staffing with a new name in 2004 and creation of a number of specialist temping, promotions and field marketing divisions kicked off a rapid growth phase. As a result of the dedication of a number of long standing managers Staffing expanded into Queensland markets and started a journey which has seen an enormous growth in only a few years.
Staffing’s has focused on infrastructure and growth as it aims to quickly secure significant share of the $9billion recruitment and temporary services industry.
A Staffing employee once remarked, “working for Staffing is more like a lifestyle than a job.” Staffing has tended to focus on selectively recruiting internally from its external team of talented staff. The resulting team of exceptionally hard working, service focused and dedicated staff has provided the foundation upon which the company has grown. A culture of continually challenging the norms and exceeding customer expectations pervades.
