Promotions Planning Manager
Promotions Planning Manager About the role The Promotions Planning Manager will be accountable for planning and managing all promotional events in support of organisational strategy and objectives, with a focus on retail promotional performance, sales and margin objectives for all stakeholders. Key responsibilities Collaboratively work with Merchandise, Marketing, Retail, Vendors, Logistics, Procurement, Wholesale sales, IT, Customers and Finance to ensure seamless promotional event management Achieve catalogue budgets for retail and wholesale margins and sales in line with overall company target Ensure that all catalogues are completed accurately in line with promotional timeline Manage vendor funded catalogue pages that support the retail catalogue program Produce completed briefs, mud maps and annual timeline planning for all promotional events Ensure all sign offs are to company standards and legislative requirements Ensure key metrics are met including top deals, promotional pricing, warehouse and DTS mix Manage Vendor submissions, image library, data build and forecast accuracy Liaise with Category Analyst to provide relevant reports to support promotional campaign to include daily sales, store SOH, post campaign and sell through analysis Work with and manage direct reports to ensure that company objectives are being met Key skills required Previous experience within a Merchandise Team preferred Proven experience managing and leading a small team Proven track record in catalogue planning and production Strong Communication and organisational skills Sound computer skills with Microsoft Office for Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Ability to motivate others and work collaboratively About us Automotive Brands Group (ABG) is a leading wholesaler and retailer of automotive parts and accessories.
